Button Element When Click Will Download A File

Hello,

Can the 'Button' element in SP Page Builder’s Add-on Elements be configured to initiate a file download when clicked? Can you please guide me on how to do this?

Appreciate any help.

Hi Rod,

By default there is no extra option for that. But in most cases browser should download a file (pdf or other) and if can, preview it in new tab. So by now just choose: Link Options > [x] Open in new tab

Thank you for your prompt response. It will be very helpful if you could add that attribute to the "button" element of SP Page Builder.
