No Pages Dispalyed After A Successful Page Layout Import

SP Page Builder 5 months ago

I'm using the SP Page Builder 5.5.7 with the empty helixultimate_template_v2.1.2 template of yours and Joomla 5.3.0.

After a successful page layout import, according to the popped up message, no pages displayed.

I was trying a lot of page layouts and all end up with the same behavior.

This happened in Firefox, Safari and Chrome with or without cache deletion in Joomla and browser's scope.

The site runs locally.

Thank you in advance for your help and looking forward for your solution.

Apolozy for the inconvenience and missing information. Unfortunately, it's not possible to provide you with a solution without seeing the issue directly. If you have a server, please make the site live, or alternatively, send me a backup of your site. Looking forward to your response.

Hi,

I installed the SP Page Builder Pro 5.5.7 and the empty helixultimate_template_v2.1.2 template of yours plus the plg_system_helixultimate_v2.1.2 in a new fresh default Joomla 5.3.0.

The problem still exists so I do not have something to show you as everything is about default installation of Joomla and your system.

I assume that the above are the minimum requirements in order to import a page layout, right?

Can you ensure me that following the above steps it is going to work?

Thanks

Apolozy for the delayed reply, as we were out of office during the weekend.

Thank you for providing the details regarding your setup. Yes, the components you've listed — SP Page Builder Pro 5.5.7, Helix Ultimate Template v2.1.2, and Helix Ultimate System Plugin v2.1.2, installed on a clean Joomla 5.3.0 environment — should indeed meet the minimum requirements for importing a page layout.

To better understand the issue and assist you more effectively, could you kindly share a screen recording of the entire process you're following and the exact issue you're encountering? This will help us identify any potential missteps or configuration problems.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. I have checked the site in my local environment, and everything appears to be working correctly—the page import functionality is performing as expected on my end.

However, it's possible I might be missing something specific to your setup. To better understand and investigate the issue, could you please share a screen recording demonstrating the problem you're encountering?

This will help me identify the root cause more effectively and provide a quicker resolution.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Best regards

Finally I was able to import a specific page from the page bundle, only after had created manually a page and give a name using the button "Layout Bundles".

However, what I was rtying to do is to import the full page bundle, all pages at once, in the details screen of the bundle using the button in the right bottom corner "Import". Doing that, I had received a message that the import was successful, but no pages were created!

So what steps are the right ones in order to import the bundle, one page at a time or all together in one click?

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Currently, it's not possible to import all pages from a layout bundle at once using the "Import" button on the bundle details screen. Although it may display a success message, the individual pages are not automatically created.

To properly import a layout from the bundle, you'll need to create a new page manually and then use the "Layout Bundles" button to select and import each layout one by one.

We understand this may be a bit time-consuming, and we appreciate your patience. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Hello, I’m experiencing the same issue – thank you for sharing this information.

However, I wonder why the function is provided if it doesn’t work properly. We all waste time trying to solve something that should be working out of the box. That’s frustrating.

Export with pictures? Not working. Bulk import without pictures? Also fails – only works for two pages. That’s not acceptable.

Best regards, Alex
