Changing Header Images In Articles/pages

Hi there, I am having trouble finding where I would change the header image that is shown as a 1920x600 background image behind the page title in the wayne corp theme pages.

I don't seem to be able to add my screenshot here. When I click edit article near the top right "Edit" text link it takes me to a different page than the one I am looking at. When I click Edit with SP Page Builder the edit page starts with the content off the top of the browser window so I can't even see the header.

I replaced the image by viewing the source code and replacing the placeholder image file, however that is not ideal.

Thank you for your time.

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

It would be better to have your admin access to check the issue for you. However, if it's page title then you can find it in the page title tab in your menu item edit window. Sample screenshot:

Or if it's article full image then you need to replace your featured image in the blog options tab.

Apologies for the inconvenience you're experiencing.

The header image you're referring to is coming from the menu settings, not directly from the article or SP Page Builder. To update this image:

  • Go to Menus > select the relevant menu (e.g., Main Menu).
  • Click on the menu item corresponding to the page you're trying to edit.
  • Navigate to the Page Title tab.
  • There you’ll find an option to set or change the background image. tinyurl.com/2c742on7

Replace it with your preferred image, and it will reflect across the top section behind the page title.

If you continue to face issues, feel free to share more details—we're happy to assist further.

Good afternoon

I apologize for returning to this topic, however, I have used the Menu > Page Title > Background Image steps to add a header image to this page (from the Menu item)

http://2025.tiems.info/index.php/en/membership/chapters-and-network

And it is not showing up. I have followed your steps, it is set to YES, same setup as this menu item

http://2025.tiems.info/index.php/en/international-certification

Can you see what I have done wrong? Thank you

Thank you. I cleared the joomla cache, but not my browser. The image is there now. Apologies for wasting your time and thank you for the response.

Hi,

No problem at all — thank you for the update.

I’m glad to hear the issue is resolved. Cache-related behavior (especially browser cache) can sometimes cause this kind of confusion, so there’s absolutely no need to apologize.

If anything else comes up, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help.

Kind regards
