Text Block Over/underlaps Footer

SP Page Builder 5 months ago

Hi all, I'm making a new customer page, based on the Restora template and SP Page Builder. On one page, I have a row with 2 columns, both with a text block. In mobile, the text of the right column overlaps, or underlaps the footer, see attached screenshot. Doesn't matter which height setting I try, the problem stays. Even deleting the whole block and making a new one, the problem stays. Any idea how to fix that? https://bayerischerwald.online/bw/screen_jobs.jpg

Hi Matthias,

In SPPB - in that section, where you have that text, you have to set bigger value for min-height in Section settings > Height Options > Min Height (Mobile Portrait) : 2200px

Remember it must be set ONLY for Mobile Portrait, not Desktop.

Denken Sie daran, dass es nur für die Mobile Ansicht eingestellt werden muss, nicht für die Desktop-Ansicht.

Please, use this in your custom css:

@media (max-width: 767.98px) {
    .sp-page-builder .page-content #section-id-556404f6-4f56-4d76-b960-84f932b0f910 {
        height: fit-content;
        min-height: fit-content;
    }
}

Thanks

Thanks guys, that worked (in the page builder settings, didn't try as custom css). Generally, shoudn't the content adjust the height automaticly? I use your system and templates quite often and never faced that problem before.

You are welcome, best practice is no need to set this type of height for the section.

Thanks.

In general, in that section shouldn't be any height settings nor values, then browser works more flexible.

Didn't work on smaller devices. I deleted the 2200 in min-height and used the custom css "fit-content". Still underlapping on smaller screens.

I used the custom css supplied by Ziaul Kabir , see above. Link to the problematic page: https://p663153.webspaceconfig.de/index.php/ueber-uns/karriere Try smaller screens by yourselve. I may also provide an admin access, if needed.

Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best regards,

Wow, looks good now. Thanks alot! Can you tell me, where the problem was?

There are 2 more issues, I couldn't solve:

Mobile/Burger Icon. It's set right, but it hangs around somewhere in the lower right side of the header. I tried to center it horizontally and (really) right side, but that didn't work.

Second: my navigation is a bit long and the last point jumps into a second row. In order to fix that, the mobile icon must show up already in smaller desktops (lower than 1540). How can I get there?

Can we discuss that here, or shall I open 2 new posts?

Thanks.

  1. Navigation now jumps into 2nd row at 1160. Might be better to show mobile icon already there.
  2. Burger icon is now center line, but still not at the right side.

Please check now — the issue has been resolved.

I’ve created a new file at the following location and added the custom styles there:

/templates/shaper_restora/css/custom.css

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Best regards,
