Joomla: 5.3.2 Template: Decora 2.0.2 Helix Ultimate Framework: 2.1.2 SP PageBuilder: 5.7.0 PHP: 4.8.4

Hello, I am not sure since when, but images in an external slideshow are no longer displayed. When switching to Cassiopeia template, everything is working fine.

To reproduce, see hidden content.

Many thanks Jürgen

Apologies for the inconvenience. The issue has been resolved. The problem was caused by a conflict between the framework used by the Prime component and the Helix Ultimate framework. To address this, I created an override at: JRoot/templates/decora/html/com_prime/object/object_switcher.php and applied the necessary modifications to resolve the conflict.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hi Atick, many thanks for your support. The Decora template and the PRIME component worked fine for a long period of time. I am no technician and would like to understand how this can be avoided that for the future? It is not about blaming, but was the template setting not correct or the one in PRIME?

Many thanks Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,

Thank you for your kind message.

You're absolutely right to seek clarification, and I appreciate your thoughtful approach. Over time, both templates and components like PRIME may receive updates that introduce changes in how they handle certain frameworks or scripts. In this case, a recent update likely introduced a framework conflict that wasn’t previously present.

The issue wasn’t caused by an incorrect setting in either Decora or PRIME, but rather due to both using different frontend libraries that began to interfere with each other. These types of conflicts can be difficult to predict, especially when third-party extensions are developed independently.

To help prevent similar issues in the future, I recommend:

  • Keeping a regular backup of your site before updating any template or component.
  • Testing updates on a staging environment before applying them to the live site.
  • Informing your developer or support team before major updates so potential conflicts can be reviewed.

Please feel free to reach out anytime something seems off—I'm here to help.

Best regards

Hi Atick, thank you for your detailed explanation and advise. I thin I will have to setup a staging environment to avoid such surprises in the future.

My thanks to you for your help and to the entire team for the great software you are providing. Especially the recently introduced dynamic content is a game changer. Great work.

Hi

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for your issue. Could you please keep a full site backup and reinstall the template? It should work then.

-Regards.

Hi Methaz, may I ask for an update please?

The issue occurs on a production website of a real estate agent and since a week no images of objects are displayed to propsects.

Team, I shared 3 days ago the credentials to access the backend. Nothing has happened so far. The issue occurs on a production website of a real estate agent and since a week no images of houses and flats are displayed to propsects. My customer is getting more and more unhappy. Appreciate your urgent help.

Thanks Juergen
