ELEVA: An Incomprehensible Crash

Hello JoomShaper team,

We’re experiencing a critical issue with the Eleva template v1.0.1. The installation is a clean Joomla site, using only Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder – no custom overrides or third-party extensions are present.

Everything works normally until we try to access the template settings panel (either frontend or backend). At that point, the panel crashes with SCSS-related errors, both in the backend and the public site.

The exact error messages are shown in the two attached screenshots (frontend and backend).

We’ve already compared the template files with the quickstart package, where everything works flawlessly. No relevant differences were found.

In this condition, the entire graphical settings panel is completely unusable, both in backend and frontend. Nothing can be configured through the Helix interface – the crash happens every time.

Can you confirm if this is a known issue? Any solution or patch available?

Thanks in advance for your support.

We only use official JoomShaper tools and templates, and we really hope this can be fixed.

Best regards,

Carlo & Tom

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best Regards,

Hello Carlo & Tom,

Sorry for your experience.

Did you try to toggle compile SCSS to CSS option, save, clear Joomla and Browser caches deeply, then check?

Please let us know if it helps!

Hello Rashida and Ziaul

Rashida: thank you. Yes the browser cache is clean. I'll try the other suggestions as soon as the interface is not broken. Thanks!

Ziaul: I'm passing credentials for you. Thank you for your support

There was a file preset.xml missing in your eleva template, I have added it, Now, You can customize your presets color.

Path: /templates/eleva/preset.xml

Thanks
