Joomla 4.2.5 | Template: Magnin 1.0.0 | SP Page Builder 3.8.9

Experiencing an issue where the PDF file is not displaying. Using the Raw HTML addon from SP Page Builder. Tried several suggested solutions, but still unable to resolve it. Solutions tried:

  1. Set the user group (e.g., super users) to “No Filtering”
  2. Removed <iframe> and <object> from TinyMCE's Prohibited Elements.
  3. Added the appropriate Extended Valid Elements.
  4. Tested the free PDF plugin extension.
  5. Attempted to use the external plugin AnyFlip.

The embed code keeps changing—<iframe> becomes i-frame and <object> with o-bject.

<i-frame src="/https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A1yI9KHJY2bmxbbxzZiIGoQLaEQS3RF0/preview" width="640" height="480" allow="autoplay"></iframe>

<o-bject data="http://10.50.0.163/ci/images/pdf/CIUMS%20Organization%20chart.pdf" type="application/pdf" > </object>

Hello webtech2,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the embedded PDF.

To assist you in resolving this, would you be willing to grant me temporary administrative access to your site? This will allow me to investigate the issue directly.

Before providing credentials, I highly recommend creating a full backup of your site to ensure data security.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards

Okay, sure — but I’m not sure if you’re able to access it, so I’ll share the db and folder also.

Hello webtech2,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the embedded PDF.

Could you please create a full site backup using Akeeba Backup and provide me with the backup file?

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards

Unfortunately my version is not compatible with Akeeba Backup’s requirements.

we're still using PHP version 7.4.3 because one of the websites is still running on Joomla ver 3.

I'm using SP Page Builder for the pages and none of the pages are able to embed PDF files. You may use the the “test” page.

Hello webtech2,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. I've tested this on my end, and the iframe functionality appears to be working correctly; it's not converting the code. prnt.sc/5sAdCGyd3hW3
