Audio Advance Issue

Hi,

As shown, the audio length specified in the settings it not transposed to the sample display. I have no idea where the "03:32" is even created from. It should be 0:39s instead.

Additionally, where is the default audio volume level setting? I would like it to be set to 50% vice the ~80% setting that seems to be a default but the ability to manipulate that setting inside of the "Advanced Audio" element is missing.

Regards.

Hello Robert,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I've updated some code in your audio_advanced addon. The duration should now be automatically taken from the audio. Please check and let me know if you need further assistance. If the issue still persists, please let me know and I will investigate further.

Best regards

Hi Atick,

So, it shows the proper sample time now but you have not stated what you did to do so. The only thing that I noticed is that the audio element has been moved up to the top, under a new heading, "CONTENT," along with the AUDIO LENGTH setting now removed. My client shall be adding more original content so I need to be able to do this consistently. I don't wish to submit a support ticket every time I need to add a new song to the list.

Additionally, you failed to address the secondary issue; specifically, setting the initial audio level to whatever level we desire. I've seen other DEV's audio add-ons with both of these settings as elements of the component. If this add-on is to be SPPB's "advanced audio" element then these are types of settings that should be the "advanced" aspect over the basic add-on element, "audio."

Regards.

Hello Robert,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. I've made some modifications to the add-on code, not within the add-on settings. With this updated code, the duration should be automatically detected from the audio file, so you no longer need to input it manually.

Regarding the volume settings, unfortunately, that setting is currently unavailable.

Best regards

Hi,

Still not understanding what you did. Did you install an updated, newer version of SPPB Pro or did you update the code just on my website? There is a SPPB Pro v5.7.2 update but changelog does not mention this fix that you've applied to my website. Will updating to SPPB Pro v5.7.2 break this fix?

As for the audio volume setting, there must be a setting somewhere in the code even if it is not made available within the advanced audio element. Obviously there is something in the code creating that particular setting, otherwise it wouldn't be there, so why hasn't the SPPB Dev team provided the ability to set it ourselves instead of the automatic arbitrary setting that is hard-coded into SPPB's advanced audio element? Makes no sense whatsoever to create a hidden volume setting that we have no access to at all.

Regards.

Hello Robert,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Please note that the "Advanced Audio" addon you're using isn't a core SP Page Builder addon. It's a customized addon specifically included with the template you're using. Because it's not a core SP Page Builder addon, it won't be updated along with SP Page Builder itself. Template-specific addons are updated with the template.

I've already informed the template team about the issue, and it will be addressed in a future template update. I've also applied a fix to your site for the time being.

Hope this helps!

Best regards
