Sp Property Search

If the property's city has two words (for example, 'Buenos Aires'), the search engine does not recognize it and the result is incorrect. I urgently need a solution for this, please.

Would you please share more details about which template are you using there? Is SP Property up to dated? Can you share screencast showing the issue more clearly so that we can understand it better? Is it happening with SP Property's search module, or within component view?

Accepted AnswerHello, I’m using the “Estate” template, but I’m having the same problem with Helix Ultimate and even with a new installation I made in another directory using the template’s quick start.
What happens is that when I enter in City: “Valeria del” the search shows the correct result. But if I type “Valeria del Mar” it shows an incorrect result (more than one property, when only one property has that location).

Accepted Answernice question, i also use Sp Property but is long time outdate, i guess joomshapper should start updating the extension component, since has much potential. I am monitoring the tickets, cheers laura. Saludos

Accepted AnswerRalized that in the quickstart the addon "spproperties_cities" doesn’t work. How can I make it work? Because it would be very useful and at least I could solve something regarding the city search..

After running several tests, I realized that the problem is that the search is not exact — instead, it searches within the words. For example, I have a city called "Pinamar" and another called "Valeria del Mar". Since they both contain the letters "MAR", the search shows all results together. Is there any way to fix this?

Can you share your administrative url, please? Moreover, the search works this way I think that outputs all the instances where it gets those similar words, and it seems logical...

Accepted AnswerHi, yes, I'll send you the website access again. Regarding the search engine, it doesn't make sense because it's actually searching for the city in a drop-down list, not a word I typed as a search term. Do you understand?
I enter Valeria del Mar in the "CITY" field of the property, for example, in another property: Ostende, and in another: Pinamar. The search engine drop-down list shows "CITY"
Pinamar - Ostende - Valeria del MarSupposedly, if I select "VALERIA DEL MAR" in the drop-down list, it should ONLY show those properties, but it returns the ones for PINAMAR as well (even though "PINAMAR" is a different city).
What I need is for the "sproperties_cities" add-on that comes with Quickstart to work. I think that should fix it.
I hope I've been clear, and I look forward to a prompt response and solution.
