Description:
Currently, Helix shows system fonts and Google Fonts in the Typography settings, but not local webfonts from the template.
For GDPR compliance, many of us load fonts as woff/woff2 into /templates/<template>/fonts/ and include them via custom CSS.
👉 Feature request: Add a dedicated “Local Fonts” section in Typography that automatically detects font files in /fonts/ (family name, weight, style) and makes them selectable – without using the Google CDN.
Benefits:
- GDPR compliant
- Cleaner setup (less custom CSS hacks)
- Faster workflow for agencies & freelancers
best regards :)
