Custom Font .woff2 Extension Gives A 404

SP Page Builder 1 month ago

Hi,

I created a page in SP Page Builder and came across the issue below: I noticed in my devtools that my custom font with woff2 extension gives a 404 which causes longer load times. As for as i can see it appears because of the double // in the url. my font is uploaded using the sp page builder settings options. my woff file doesn't have any issues. Only the woff2 file.

/media/com_sppagebuilder/assets/custom-fonts/crustaceans_signature_demoRg//media/com_sppagebuilder/assets/custom-fonts/crustaceans_signature_demoRg/crustaceans-signature-regular-webfont.woff2

There is a second reference to /media/com_sppagebuilder/assets/custom-fonts/crustaceans_signature_demoRg/ inside the URL

I tried to find in the code where this URL is generated but i wasn't able to find it so i create a support ticket. I assume with an override i can fix this isue?

Kind Regaerds

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Also, Please add a screenshot of your issues.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best,

Hello,

I'm not keen to share access to my site and let you making changes i'm not aware of. I just want a fix for this error so i can apply it myself so i can follow-up in the future. The error is that in the code there is two times a reference to the media folder. For example when i use my custom font on a page i create with SP Page Builder Pro https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipM8rUUp4--sP30u-GXXPkNy0SFKCS1Jm0xEWryOIzLVFoOfNmohUWWRO9Y796icYw?key=Z1FvQ1l4MWdKZXVOM0tCTWVSWmltV2VnQldWNzB3

Kind regards

Hi,

Can i have a solution for this issue. As a paying customer i think with almost 2 weeks since my first post the reasonable period has expired. You can not make it for a paying product to take so long for offering a solution.

Kind regards

Hello,

Apologies for the delay. After a thorough check, I found that the issue was caused by a third-party extension plugin named System - Route 66. I have disabled it, and there are no more errors in the console.

Please check again now.

Thanks

From our end, there are no issues. You may ask them to make their extensions compatible with SP Page Builder, as they are creating conflicts in the routing.

This issue originates on their side.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Ziaul,

I asked Route 66 about it and showed them my issue too after you mentioned that route 66 was causing it. I've got a confirmation that there will be an update from their side to solve the issue.

Kind regards
