Off-canvas Inert Attribute Breaking Mobile Menu + Thumbnail Scaling Issue

Hi,

We’ve noticed a couple of issues with SP Page Builder that required custom fixes on our end. Could you please review and let us know if these can be addressed in a future update?

Off-canvas menu inert attribute

Problem: The .offcanvas-menu element is being rendered with an inert attribute. This prevents users from being able to click on menu links, especially in mobile view.

Temporary Fix: We had to remove the inert attribute via JavaScript to restore menu functionality.

Request: Can this be adjusted so the menu works correctly out of the box?

Thumbnail scaling on small devices

Problem: Thumbnail images inside SP Page Builder modules are not scaling responsively on smaller devices, leading to layout issues.

Temporary Fix: We added custom CSS to ensure images scale properly.

Request: Can responsive image handling be improved in the core plugin so that additional CSS is not needed?

I’ve attached screenshots showing the inert attribute issue and the thumbnail scaling problem for your reference. Please let me know if you need a site link.

Thank you for your support and for considering these improvements!

Best regards

Hi,

Are you able to see this screenshot? https://iili.io/KI8qhmJ.png

This inert attribute is causing the issue in mobile view. I'm unable to click the menu items. Currently, I’m removing inert using JavaScript, but I don’t want to rely on custom JS to fix this issue. Can you help me resolve it?

Thanks!

Hi,

Since I'm using JavaScript to remove the inert attribute, everything appears to be working properly. However, if I disable JavaScript, you'll notice that clicking on the menu(mobile view) no longer works.

Thanks!
