Navigation Buttons Disappeared

Helix Framework 1 month ago

Hi

I am rebuilding a blog which I upgraded up to Joomla 5.4.0 and the latest of Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder (6.1.0). I noticed that the navigation buttons which helps a website visitor to either select [Previous] or [Next] to move between articles in a category disappeared.

I cannot say if it was after an upgrade to a new Helix Framework/Template, or if it happened after I upgraded Joomla to 5.4.0.

I subsequently created a Joomla 6.0.0 site with again Helix Ultimate and SP Pagebuilder, and the buttons are still missing.

Can you shed some light on what happened here. It is quite awkward to go back to the category list everytime and search for the next article.

Regards,

J. Francois Barnard

Apology for the inconvenience. I have checked and can confirm that there is indeed an issue. I have informed our development team about it, and the fix will be included in the next update.

However, if you need an immediate solution, please replace the following file on your site with the attached one: JROOT/plugins/system/helixultimate/overrides/com_content/article/default.php

default.php.zip

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hi! I'm having the same problem. I think it's due to the new version of Helix Ultimate... Regards, B. Navío

Based on my testing, it may depend on the update order. I reinstalled the template and the Helixultimate plugin (after updating Joomla and SpPageBuilder), cleared the Joomla cache, and the buttons reappeared...

Hi Thank you for your post. The reinstallation of the template did not work. Note that this problem is on two different sites, one upgraded to Joomla 5.4.0 and the other a new installation of Joomla 6.0.0.

I'm so sorry to hear that! In my case, on all Joomla 5.4.0 installations, reinstalling the template and plugin solved the problem. It even fixed another issue: the blog pagination layout, which was centered in the first update, realigned to the left after the reinstallation.
