We cannot support old version of software or Joomla itself.

About SPAM problem, is a global World problem, and not easy to solve. That's why many layers of security must be used not only Cloudflare Turnstile or ReCapatcha.

And for sure simple 3+4 - doesn't make sense in AI era.

Sorry, but old version = old code, no updates. This same is with OS.

You have to be more creative in recaptcha field and use extra plugin to reduce number of fake spam visitis (search in JED).

I would answer this way, spammers gets money for sending e-mails, and others (earn $) from protecting sites from spam. All is possible, but it has own price.
