Migrating Blog Design From Other Templates

Do you have any instructions on how to transfer the layout and design of a blog from one template to a clean Helix Ultimate?

Here I like for example the design of the blog in the Fortune template and I want to apply the blog template of categories and materials on my current site. How do I do this?

Hello Dmitry Goncharov

The easy way is download and install the fortune template and assign it for the blog pages. Or you can do the following to transfer Blog style from Fortune to Helix Ultimate:

  1. Please go to this location: templates/fortune/html and copy com_content folder and paste to templates/shaper_helixultimate/html
  2. Please go to this location: templates/fortune/html/layouts/joomla and copy content folder and paste to templates/shaper_helixultimate/html/layouts/joomla
  3. Then check Fortune Menu Item Type Category Blog settings and apply the same settings on Helix Ultimate Menu Item.
  4. You might also need to take some language string translation from Fortune to Helix Ultimate.
