How To Prevent Changes To Index.php Being Lost When Shaper Helix_ultimate is Updated?

So I want to change index.php in the shaper helix ultimate template but I lose my changes anytime an update is applied.

What is the correct way of keeping these changes?

Hi,

It was never possible in none of template. The only way is to rename template, and use a fresh one.

This solution has its pros and cons. But I don't think I need to explain that to you.

Check features of Phoca Site plugin (phoca.cz) - maybe you don't need to edit index.php file. There are also others to use Custom PHP code etc.
