Keep Image Aspect Ration - Dont Stretch - Image Layouts

Preamble

We are using template LIGHTBOX, and Image Layouts on home page to create section of Information with several pictures among words,

When visitor adjust size of browser, pictures streach and screw.

How can we make them keep thier shape/apect ratio (Destop/Tablet)? (We have Image container column = 3 )

Should we use different method, not Image Layouts ?
