I am using the Article Scroller, however, content created with SP Page Builder is not displayed. It appears that the scroller only accesses standard Joomla articles.

Is there any support or workaround for displaying SP Page Builder content? Is there a way to include or integrate SP Page Builder pages into the Article Scroller?

I would greatly appreciate any helpful answers. Thank you in advance!

Apologies for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, it is not possible to display SP Page Builder content in the Article Scroller. The Article Scroller only accesses the Joomla article’s intro text for listing, whereas content created with SP Page Builder does not populate the intro text field. Currently, the only way to display content in the scroller is by using the standard Joomla article intro text.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this limitation.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, this represents a drawback for me, as I have implemented a large portion of the content as Joomla articles and then created all of these pages using the SP Page Builder with its add-ons, which I value greatly.

It is therefore all the more disappointing that the existing Joomla articles or pages cannot currently be used in the article scroller. The Joomla articles themselves are still present; however, when clicking on the notices displayed via the article scroller, the add-ons used in the SP Page Builder are unfortunately not rendered.

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for sharing your use case. We fully understand your frustration, especially given the time and effort you have invested in building your content with Joomla articles and SP Page Builder add-ons.

Unfortunately, this is a technical limitation of how the Article Scroller works. It is designed to retrieve and render only the Joomla article intro text for listings. While the articles themselves still exist and load correctly, the Article Scroller does not support rendering SP Page Builder layouts or add-ons within its listing or preview output. As a result, SP Page Builder content cannot be displayed or rendered when accessed through the scroller.

At this time, there is no supported workaround to fully integrate SP Page Builder–designed pages into the Article Scroller. We understand this may not align with your current implementation, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience this limitation causes.

We truly appreciate your understanding and your valuable feedback, which helps us evaluate potential improvements for future development.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or need clarification on this matter.

As there is currently no supported way to fully integrate pages created with SP Page Builder into the Article Scroller, I find this particularly regrettable—especially since this tool is otherwise very attractive and promising.

With the Article Scroller, my website, as well as many other websites, could benefit from much more appealing and effective presentations.

Thank you very much for your clarifying feedback. I sincerely hope that this functionality can be taken into consideration in future developments.
