In SP Eventum, the term “Speaker” is a language string, so it can be changed using Joomla’s language override system.

Please follow the below steps:

• Go to System > Language Overrides

• Select the appropriate language (e.g. English – Site)

• Click New

• Search for the word Speaker

• Locate the related SP Eventum language constant (for example: COM_SPEVENTUM_SPEAKER)

• Replace the value with your preferred term

• Save and clear cache

This will safely override the wording without modifying core extension files and will remain intact after updates.

If you can’t find the exact language string, please let us know where the term appears (frontend or backend), and we’ll help you identify the correct constant.
