Hi, I have created an original joomla blogpost and wanted to style this so i inspected the css on my page. I can see the following link to a schema.org site on every blogpost i have in the page. Is this correct - is it supposed to be a part of the code? I dont understand what this is used for?

<div class="article" itemprop="blogPost" itemscope="" itemtype="schema.org/BlogPosting">

Hi Jeanette,

Yes, this is normal and expected.

The code you’re seeing is Schema.org structured data, specifically the BlogPosting schema. It is added automatically by Helix Ultimate to help search engines understand that the content is a blog post.

So yes, it is to be part of the code, and you don’t need to remove or change it unless you are doing advanced SEO customization.

Thanks for reaching out.

Best regards,
