Hi,
Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced while trying to configure the sidebar.
To achieve the layout you described, please follow the steps below:
1. Publish the modules in the correct position
First, make sure that all the required modules (Social Media, Ad 1, Must Read Articles, Ad 2) are published in the right module position from Extensions → Modules.
2. Arrange the module order
Once the modules are assigned to the right position, you can control their order directly from the Module Manager.
In the module list, filter by the right position, and then adjust the Ordering so they appear in the following sequence:
- Social Media
- Ad 1
- Must Read Articles
- Ad 2
Please note that module ordering is a core Joomla feature, not something controlled by our template or extension.
3. Spacing between modules
After placing the modules in the correct position and order, please share your website URL with us. I will check the layout and provide a small custom CSS snippet that will ensure equal spacing between each module.
4. Displaying modules only on article/news pages
You can control where modules appear using Joomla’s Menu Assignment feature. In each module:
- Open the module settings
- Go to the Menu Assignment tab
- Select “Only on the pages selected”
- Choose the menu items that correspond to your Article or News pages
This will prevent the modules from appearing on other pages such as your landing page.
Best regards.
