At the moment, EasyStore does not provide automated tax calculation for US regions (such as real-time state-based or ZIP-code-based tax rates). Taxes need to be configured manually within the system.

This means:

You would need to define tax rules manually for different regions/states.

There is no native integration with automated tax services (like Avalara or TaxJar).

Maintaining accurate tax rates across multiple jurisdictions can be difficult without customization.

For businesses dealing with US taxes, many users rely on external solutions or custom integrations to handle accurate tax calculations.

We understand this is an important requirement, and I will add it as a feature request for future improvements.

The New J2 Commece Extendion will ahve this feature, They are workin gon a plugin to connect to Avalara.

Not sure why after all this time with ES that the dev team or the company owner(s) negeleted to mkae hti shappen. There are a number of companies who supply this service. maybe reach out to these companies.

I have talked with our team about it and they said, there will be no automatic calculated tax feature. Tax might vary to region or product. You have to manually insert the tax rate. The request is denied. Sorry for this inconvenience.
