In SP Easy Image Gallery, mass-uploaded images are often ordered by upload sequence or internal ID rather than by filename, so even sequential names like 01.jpg, 02.jpg, 03.jpg may not be respected.

At the moment, there is no reliable built-in option to automatically sort uploaded images by filename during bulk upload.

Your available options are:

• Upload in smaller batches so the upload order is preserved more accurately
• Use drag-and-drop reordering after upload
• Prefix filenames with leading zeros (001, 002, 003) which sometimes helps if there is any alphabetical sorting involved
• Avoid renaming after upload, since the gallery may already have stored a different order internally

If you are doing very large galleries frequently, the easiest workflow is usually:

• Rename files with leading zeros before upload
• Upload in the exact order you want
• Only do minor drag-and-drop adjustments afterward

If you upload a large batch all at once, the order may appear random because the server processes uploads in parallel rather than one by one.

Unfortunately, there is currently no dedicated “sort by filename” or “sort alphabetically” control in SP Easy Image Gallery.
