If a dynamic content item is assigned to "All Languages", Joomla treats it as a shared/global item, so it cannot be duplicated into language-specific versions directly.
For multilingual sites, the recommended approach is to create separate items for each language and assign the appropriate language to each one. Unfortunately, there is no built-in shortcut that automatically creates all 7 translated versions at once.
However, you do not need to recreate everything from scratch manually each time. A quicker workflow would be:
- Duplicate the original item
- Change the Language field for the duplicated copy
- Translate only the text/content parts
- Repeat for the remaining languages
This is still much faster than rebuilding every item from scratch.
Also, if you are managing a large amount of multilingual content, you may consider using Joomla Associations so related items across languages stay connected.
