At the moment, the Newskit template is not yet compatible with Joomla 6. This is because it is built on the Helix 3 framework, which itself does not currently support Joomla 6.

Most of our newer templates are based on Helix Ultimate, which has already been updated for Joomla 6 compatibility. Since Helix 3 requires significant updates to align with Joomla 6, it will take some additional time before templates built on it, including Newskit, can be made fully compatible.
