SP Page Builder Pro – Accordion Editor Crashes With "TypeError: T.replace is Not A Function"

Hi Support Team,

I am experiencing a critical error in SP Page Builder Pro when trying to edit Accordion items in the backend editor.

Error message: "Unhandled Runtime Error – TypeError: t.replace is not a function"

The error appears every time I click the edit icon on an Accordion addon. The page builder crashes and I cannot edit the Accordion content.

Browser console errors:

  • TypeError: t.replace is not a function (vendors.min.js)
  • Failed to load resource: bundle.min.js.map (404)
  • SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON
  • Content Security Policy of your site blocks the use of 'eval' in JavaScript

Important observation: Other addons (e.g. Form Builder) can be edited without any issue in the same editor. The problem seems to be specific to the Accordion addon.

Already checked / ruled out:

  • Joomla cache cleared (System → Clear Cache, multiple times)
  • Browser cache cleared / hard reload
  • SP Page Builder Pro is up to date (latest version installed)
  • Joomla System Plugin "HTTP Headers" is disabled
  • 4SEO has no CSP configuration enabled
  • .htaccess does not contain any Content-Security-Policy directive
  • Tested in different browsers, same result

Could you please advise what could be causing this and how to resolve it? It currently blocks us from editing FAQ accordion content on the homepage.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards, Katharina Stolzer ithelps digital
