Many Items On The Invoice – Adjusting The Printout To Span Multiple Pages.

Hello,

I have now adjusted the invoice and purchased several items myself to test page 2. It doesn't look right. I am sending the PDF invoice and the PHP file I modified via a private message.

How can I change the number of items printed per page, and how can I customize the header for the second and subsequent pages—ideally including a "carried over from page 1" line at the top of page 2 and on the pages that follow?

Thanks and best regards. Josef

Hello Josef,

Thank you for your message, and apologies for the inconvenience.

To investigate the issue properly, could you please share the modified override PHP file that you are currently using? You can upload the file to https://files.fm/ and send us the download link.

Once we have the override file, we will review it and check:

  • How the number of items printed per page can be adjusted.
  • Whether the header can be customized for the second and subsequent pages.
  • The possibility of adding a "Carried over from page 1" (or similar) notice at the top of page 2 and following pages.

We look forward to your reply.

Best regards

hi Atick,

thank you

The result and the invoice layout have deteriorated drastically! Only the number of items has been adjusted to fit the page length—there is no top margin on the second page, and the footer—why is it called a footer?—is now in the middle of the second page!

Best regards, Josef

The second page still has no top margin; the printer can't print it!

The footer is now not a footer according to German DIN standards.

hello, I tested on Chrome, Opera and MS Edge - PDF with no margins,

PDF settings – margins: "none" (because any other setting prevents the footers from aligning correctly). I’m sending you a PDF using the "standard" margin setting—look at the footers on pages 1 and 2; you'll see the top margin is also too large on the first page.

I generally use "margins: none" as my default PDF print setting, because the "standard" margin setting—which most web-based PDFs require—causes issues.

Thank you,

So, do I have to use the "Standard" margins now?

We also need page numbers—"1/2" and "2/2"—at the far right of the footer for the tax authorities.

It would also be desirable to have a carry-forward: a subtotal at the bottom (below the items but above the footer) and, on subsequent pages, a line at the top (below the headers) showing the running total from all previous pages. That would satisfy our tax office.

I think, many Easystore users would also appreciate it if this could be configured globally in the settings.

I am sending you the requirements for business letters, which include invoices.

We also need to provide an e-invoice since 2025. This is also a requirement for the implementation of your web shop extensions.
