Does Helix 3 Vulnerability Affect Templates On Helix 2?

Hi,
since I'm reading about the security issue that was reported and fixed for Helix 3.1.1 I need to ask, since I'm using JoomShaper templates built on Helix 2, is there anything I need to do as well? Is the problem affecting older versions too or just Helix 3?

Probably not, but we don't support such a old templates.
We support only Helix3 and Helix Ultimate 2.x, and Joomla 4, 5 and 6.x

Could you please clarify what you mean by Helix 2? Do you mean Helix Ultimate 2.x, or are you referring to the older Helix II framework (which was discontinued a long time ago)?
This update is only for the Helix3 framework, not for the Helix Ultimate framework.
Although both frameworks are developed by us, they are separate frameworks with different structures and update paths. This update does not apply to Helix Ultimate.
We also do not recommend using both frameworks on the same website, as it may cause compatibility issues.

I have built a security extension that can detect and clean them with a single click. It also includes a live WAF feed for protection, a malware scanner, and automatic extension updates.
