Homepage Not Reflecting Updates

SP Page Builder 1 week ago

Hi,

I'm having an issue with SP Page Builder Pro on a multilingual Joomla 5 (English + Chinese) and would really appreciate some help.

The problem: The English homepage is not reflecting any content updates on the frontend. Specifically:

  • If I update an article that is featured in the homepage article slider, the article page itself updates fine, but the slider on the homepage does not reflect the change
  • New slider items I add in the English homepage layout are not appearing on the frontend either
  • The Chinese homepage works perfectly — all updates reflect immediately

What I see in the SP Page Builder frontend editor:

  • The English homepage appears to be missing elements — for example the article slider shows only one image instead of multiple, and there are tabs with content visible on the frontend that do not appear in the editor at all
  • The Chinese homepage looks correct and complete

Background context: Our site was recently hacked and our hosting company restored it from a previous backup.

We have checked the following already:

  • Cleared Joomla cache
  • Cleared Cloudflare cache
  • Confirmed the correct database is connected in configuration.php
  • Confirmed the English Home menu item is published and correctly assigned

My questions:

  1. Is there a way to force SP Page Builder to rebuild or refresh the English homepage layout?
  2. Could SP Page Builder be serving a cached or static HTML snapshot of the English page that is different from the current database content? If so, where is this cache stored and how do I clear it?
  3. Is there a safe way to diagnose or repair a corrupted SP Page Builder page layout without rebuilding the entire page from scratch?

Thank you so much for any help — really appreciate it!

Apologies for the delayed response.

Would it be possible for me to take a full backup of your website? I'd like to reproduce and investigate the issue on my local development environment to identify the root cause.
