Hi JoomShaper team, and LMS users

We have been working extensively with SP LMS 4.1.4 on a production Joomla website and, while adapting it to our needs, we have implemented several improvements and fixes that could be useful for future versions.

🎨 Frontend & UI Modernized the design of course listings, course details, filters, schedules, pricing, lessons and quizzes. Improved responsive behavior for mobile and tablet. Redesigned the My Courses area to present courses, quiz results and diplomas more clearly. Hidden unpublished or invalid courses from the student area without deleting historical orders.

📲 Social sharing Updated Twitter to X. Added proper WhatsApp sharing. In our installation, WhatsApp support was partially present in the code, but it was not correctly exposed in the backend configuration.

📝 Quiz improvements Store the student's actual answers, not only the final score. Review completed quizzes question by question. Show the student's selected answer and the correct answer. Calculate the score server-side. Added CSRF protection and course-access validation. Prevent duplicate active attempts. Added a dedicated quiz review page. Improved the quiz interface and the final results screen. Added navigation back to the quiz list after completing an exam. 🎥 VdoCipher integration Added custom VdoCipher support for protected video lessons. VdoCipher keeps its own OTP and protection system without interference from SP LMS.

🔐 Extra video protection For normal hosted videos we also added:

delayed delivery of the real video URL; server-side authorization before playback; Joomla session/CSRF validation; a dynamic watermark showing the student's name, email and date; periodic movement of the watermark on screen.

This makes it more difficult to redistribute or record course content anonymously.

🏆 CERTOFOCATE & student area Integrated our CERTIFICATE (DIPLOMA) system directly into My Courses. Improved presentation of course results, quiz scores and student diplomas. Added verification and review actions directly from the student area.

🧩 Update-friendly approach Where possible, visual improvements were implemented using Joomla template overrides, avoiding unnecessary modifications to the SP LMS core.

SP LMS is still the base of our system, but after using it intensively we believe some of these improvements — especially WhatsApp sharing, VdoCipher integration, quiz answer review, video protection and frontend modernization — could be useful additions to a future official release.
