Joomla 6.2.0 — How to turn off Forgot Password with CSS with new Joomla feature?

Asked by Gurney Environmental 2 days ago Last activity 20 hours ago

I just updated my under-development site to the new Joomla 6.2.0 that includes the new option for the Login to turn off the Forgot Password/Forgot Username items. However, my template (of course) has an override for the mod_login, thus it apparently blocks that new Joomla feature. (And if I leave that override out, it disrupts the formatting of any PB sections that follow on that page.)

I searched these forums and came across a few threads suggesting to add a CSS line to stop those lines from showing.
.login .list-group > a {display: none; visibility: hidden;}

However, I tried adding it in: a) the end of the template's custom.css file; b) the Helix Style Advanced Custom CSS space; and c) to the Page Builder section with the Joomla login module (tried both the section's CSS and the Module add-on's CSS).

None of those get rid of the Forgot items, so I thought I would ask if anyone has figured this out for Joomla 6.2.0. I'm just guessing that perhaps the coding change that added this new Joomla feature might be negating the CSS that has been recommended in the past. Thanks.

Got it fixed. Needed to use this:
.mod-login .list-group > a {display: none; visibility: hidden;}
