Much of our content gets stale after an event date and would love the ability to hide it based on date/time. Not looking for page level or dynamic content, this is for static items
Would love to be able to hide/unhide static content based on date/time.

Hi Gregory,
Thanks for the suggestion, and it makes sense for event-driven content. At the moment SP Page Builder can't schedule individual addons, rows or sections by date and time. Visibility settings only cover device types.
Here's a workaround that keeps your content static and doesn't use Dynamic Content. It relies on Joomla's built-in module scheduling:
- Go to Content → Site Modules → New → Custom. Add your content there; you can paste HTML if you need to.
- Open the Publishing tab and set Start Publishing and Finish Publishing to the dates you want.
- Assign the module to a custom position, such as
event-promo, and set Menu Assignment to the pages it should appear on. - In SP Page Builder, add the Joomla Module addon where the content should appear, and select that module or position.
Joomla will show and hide the module automatically. Once the finish date passes, the block disappears from the page and you don't have to edit anything. If page caching is enabled, clear the cache, or the change may take until the cache expires to show.
If you meant content outside SP Page Builder, such as Helix template content or Joomla articles, let me know and I'll point you to the right option.
Best regards,
Thanks, Rashida. I understand that there are some workarounds, but they are pretty hacky and then you wind up with content (and image management) both in and out of Page Builder, which is not ideal. I guess this is a feature request then, particular for time based hiding and showing even if for limited blocks, like columns and rows.
