Custom CSS On Updated Websites

Hi,

After a recent update custom.css has been moved to the top of the head. This means that most of the css we built ourselfs is executed first and is overwritten bij de default css. This messes up allot of websites and we have to fix it manually by edditing the templates index file and move the execution of the custom.css to the bottom of the head-tag.

Could you please change this back in the next update? That would save us allot of work.

With kind regards,

Hi, sorry, we know this issue - indeed it wasn't planned. I hope that our developers will be able to fix it soon.

However there is one smart way to fix it even now, I mean to change order of loading custom CSS file:

  1. Rename file name from custom.css into extra.css
  2. Inside Template Options - Custom Code - Code in < Head > put below line

<link href="/templates/shaper_helixultimate/css/extra.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

of course use template folder name.
