HU2 Blog Layout Without Leading Article Too Small

Hello I have a question. I want to set up a blog with 3 colums there should be no leading article. Similar to Helix Ultimate Demo Preview Blog
But when i set it up then the row is in one Column or too small. Is this a Joomla or Template Problem? Can i fix this with any class, setting or custom css? Hope it is no problem with the template itself?
If you need any info please let me know. I put you the site into hidden content. Its a dev site Thank you for your help.
