Pitech Template Setup In Joomla! 4

Template 4 years ago

I recently bought a Joomla! 4 template (Pithech) and I'm trying to set it up. I am not a computer professional user but I intrigue Joomla! a long time to experiment with websites. I have 3 questions regarding the configuration of the Pitech template (and probably Joomla too!): I am attaching some screenshots to better explain the problems and I apologize for some parts in Italian, but this is the language of the web site.

#1 – User optional fields. I want to record some extra fields in the sign up module and I have activated the user-profile plugin. The extra fields are exposed in the form but I am not able to hide the additional text in the field title: how do you do this?

#2 website mail set-up I have configured the mail manager with php-mail and when I send a test message the username field remains unexposed (% s). Where am I wrong?
#3 SMTP mail set-up If I try to configure the mail manager with SMTP (which I would prefer) the test message does not even start and an error message appears: in previous versions of Joomla and with different templates this worked. The google account now requires a 2-step login verification: is this the reason for the malfunction? Attached the error message: I apologize for the Italian language in the hard copy of the forms.

Thanks for your support Arrigo

Hi there!

Thnaks for contacting us.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any screenshots in your question. Would you please recheck and send them?

You can upload your image to any online server and share the link with us here. Even any free online tool can be used either. For example : https://imgur.com/upload

Best Regards

Hi. About email. The site should not use private mailboxes. You should use mail for a domain. And on your server side you must set special DNS records, confirming the authenticity of the sender. Read the documentation on your hosting about this.

TIP: In general, all your questions are not related to the template. Better use forum.joomla.org for similar questions.
