Slideshow Border, Helix Colors, Cloumtextwide...a lot of strange behaviour

I updated a 3.10 site to J4 installed SP Pagebuilder an the piTech template
There are a lot of strange bahviour and most of them i consider bugs.

  1. Changes to the template colors have no effect except for the menu color. Backgroud top color doesnt change from black no matter what you change (I tried all of the solutions that were recomanded in another post)
  2. On the pages where the Colors of the top doesnt change i get strange symbols after menu entries or at the bottom...looks like it uses some strange kind of caracterset (See Screenshot 1 on http://test2.gros.at/index.php/menuausbildungen/grahics-for-joomshaper)
  3. BUT if i change the menu item from single Article to something else (fe a sppagebuider page or a eventbooking view). The colors are ok (like on the startpage).
  4. Slideshow: i try to make the text look more visible and so i tried to make a background to my text and to avoid that it looks real bad i want to add a border...no matter what i enter in bordersize it only produces a 2px border. Bordercolor works, borderwide doesnt (See screeshot 3 on http://test2.gros.at/index.php/menuausbildungen/grahics-for-joomshaper)
  5. So i failed on that try, i decided to use another Slide picture with white background as workaround, but i cannot change the wide of the textbox, so the text is running into the graphics and again its hard to read

  6. Question Wishlist: so i tried another workaround to change the slides from a dark on without text to a light slide with black text. Is there a possibility to change the duration per slide or only for all slides (I want the slides without text to appear for a shorter amount of time then the ones with text.

I hoped that i can avoid wrinting Css but as it seems i have to study a bit. Thank you for the videoguide. I think i can solve the problem with it.

  1. Disabled jch_optimize extension and disabled template css & js conpression
  2. Disabled conservative caching from the global configuration.

Note: During the modify or changes you should disable above settings and extension. Sometimes the problem occuurred for the jch optimize plugin.

My goal is to get some readable text on top of various pictures on the sliedeshow.
So on screenshot 2 i want to reduce the widht of the textblock.
on sreenshot 3 i tried to make a white box as Backgroud for a textobject but with a reasonable border with margins around the text. No matter what i enter in the borderwidth or margin fields i allways get what you see on the screenshot.

Question: As a workaround i tried to use two pictures one without text and another much brighter so a black text has more contrast to the background but i would like to set the duration of the "textslides" so that they apear longer then the slides without text, but i think that i cannot set durations for each slide but only for all slides with the same value, right?
