DOCTYPE Not Doctype

Would it be possible to change doctype on line 99 of index.php for Helix Ultimate to DOCTYPE in order to comply with the standards?

Also, I am not sure but it may also be necessary to remove the empty line before it.

Hello Charles Southgate

You may use DOCTYPE or doctype or any combination of lowercase and uppercase. It is case insensitive. So, there will be no issue. Empty space will not create any issue. Please do not worry about it.

Best regards

Actually, according to the standards, it will maje a difference for SEO. I'm using the Watchful applocation to magane and monitor my site, and when the page was generated as per the template (megainc), it did tell me that it could not detect the doctype - due to the extra line before it - and even when I fixed that, it still couldn't determine it until I changed the case to Upper case.

You're welcome, Ofi! Speaking of feedback, I also want to mention that there are a number of errors and warnings that come up when I do a W3C validation on the website; these seem to be from the templates. For example, see the validation page for my website at https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.threecatsmarketing.com%2F.
