We've been working across the board — refining existing tools, closing gaps, and laying the groundwork for a more capable and flexible page-building experience.

New Icon Field in Dynamic Content Collections
The capabilities of Dynamic Content keep expanding, with this update adding a brand new Icon Field.
Add icons to your dynamic collection items by choosing from the Font Awesome and IcoMoon libraries, or uploading your own icons. You’ll be able to place them in your dynamic pages by simply inserting the Dynamic Text addon and choosing the icon as a field source.
Icons help add more context to content, and you can now add that context without having to manually insert icons all the time.

Custom Field Support for Dynamic Articles
SP Page Builder now supports Joomla Custom Fields as field sources in Dynamic Text and Dynamic Media addons, giving you far greater control over how article content is presented on your site.
If you have Joomla articles with custom fields such as author bios, publication dates, external links, or calendar, you can now fetch that data directly on your Dynamic Article pages without any workarounds.
For instance, if you have a custom field group in Joomla with fields for the author's name and profile image, simply place a Dynamic Text addon on your Article Details page and set its field source to the author name field. For the image, drop in a Dynamic Media addon and point it to the profile image field. That's all it takes. And yes, this works across both the Dynamic Article Index and Article Details pages.
Supported field types: Text, Text Area, URL, Editor, Media, Calendar, Radio, Number, and Integer.

Support for Google Gemini Models
Oh, and we didn't forget our Generative AI treasure box — Gemini models are now in the mix alongside GPT!
You can choose from Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite and Gemini 2.5 Flash for text generation. Your websites can now make full use of the text generation capabilities of these models, enhancing the way you develop your site.

Besides the brand new features we’ve discussed, this new update brings several other important changes:
Added Time Comparison Option for Current Date and Offset
The new Time Comparison option enhances Current Date filtering by comparing both the date and exact time of dynamic content with the user's current time and selected offset. This makes it easier to display accurate, time-sensitive content such as events, bookings, schedules, or countdowns.
Fraction and Separator support in the Animated Number Addon
The Animated Number Addon has received a fresh new update, now allowing you to add fractional numbers. You can set a number that will appear after a decimal point, with the additional option to change the decimal point symbol (decimal separator value) as well.
SEO Settings support for items edited with SP Simple Portfolio integration
When customizing SP Simple Portfolio items using SP Page Builder, you can now customize SEO settings such as meta-description and keywords by accessing them via the Page Settings.
Mailto and Tel support in the Dynamic Text Addon for direct mailing and calls
If you have set a Phone or Email field in a dynamic collection, you can now enable making the phone number or email into a clickable link, so visitors can either call or send an email directly from their device.
