How to get search suggestions to display in front of menu

Asked by Matt Hunt 2 years ago Last activity 2 years ago

I've got a search field in the top bar of the site, but when searching, the results are hidden behind the menu. How can I get that to appear in front of the menu? Please see screenshot. Thanks!

I think I found it.
I put the following into custom css in Helix. Is that the best solution?

awesomplete > ul {
position: absolute;
left: 0;
z-index: 100 !important;
min-width: 100%;
box-sizing: border-box;
list-style: none;
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
background: #fff;
color: #000;
}
