Hi,
I purchased EasyStore recently and I had purposed to use it to sell music files (instrumentals) on my website https://audioblitz.net/index.php/audio-beatz. I am having trouble sharing previews of the instrumentals on the store's page. I understand that I can embed the preview videos/audios on the description section the text editor but then they end showing below the product. Is there a way you can help me to put a video as the main image/file for the product?

Thank you for the feedback. It would really be great to have it considered in future versions. For now, can you tell me which file(s) I can edit to make it possible for me to upload video content as the main preview for a product? I have some programming experience so I would like to see if I can change it just for me

Yes, right now you can use video addon.

Indeed many users wait for that e-product feature.
Right now, you can use Video addon to show users preview of the clip.
Using Media tab you can upload mp4 file.

Noted. What I have done for now is to just edit the php files so that the product desciption comes first. That way, I can display the video file from any source using the description and the user and can preview it without having to visit the actual product page.

I am pretty sure that even in your city should be php developer who can help you.

Just advice.
I suppose you go wrongly trying to sell your music on your site.
Consider services as beatstars.com. Upload versions for listening to all streaming platforms as Spotify.
And even YouTube will be much more effective for selling music than your site.
For the sale of music, it is important to be socially noticeable. And the site can be used as artist/label portfolio, making a beautiful design and posting on it only your bandlinks.
In addition, being on this page, I can easily download your music for free using my browser means
On YouTube, you can find many guides about the best ways to sell your music.

I know you'll make less money using these external platforms, but there's a better chance that someone will buy your records. For count how much you have to spend on advertising your site? Of course, it depends on the market.
So partially I agree with Pavel.
