This problem started already with updates from 3.7.5 to 3.7.6. Every update from there on needs to be installed manually... When do you think the regular update-process will work again?

The auto update works without any problem. Maybe somehow your license key is missing while requesting for update.

I am sorry to disagree. The license key seems to be correct. Joomla is actual. I only have this problem with SPPB updates. Any other checks I can make to solve the problem? (I already cleared mostly every "cache" I found, maybe I miss one). This happens on 3 different Joomla Installations.
