EasyStore: 3rd decimal place for product prices

Asked by Chris G 11 months ago Last activity 11 months ago

Hey gusy,

Is there a way to adjust the calculation of net and gross prices so that a third decimal place is taken into account?

E.g.:
In Germany, 19% VAT is charged on most goods
If I want to offer a product for €15 including VAT, the net price would be €12.605
But I can only enter two decimal places.
The result of the calculation then looks like this:
12.605€ automatically rounded up to 12.61€. 12,61€ + 19% VAT = 15.0059€ automatically rounded up to 15.01€

I can reduce the decimal place by -1 and then have the following calculation:
12,60€ + 19% VAT = 14.994€ automatically rounded down to 14.99€

None of the calculations lead to the desired result = 15€.
How can this be solved?

Regards, Chris

Hello Chris,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Currently, the pricing works this way. I’ll forward your suggestion to our team as a feature request. If our management decides to implement this, users may be given an option to configure how prices are displayed — such as enabling decimals or choosing the number of digits shown after the decimal point.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Best regards,
