Can I change the labels for hours, minutes, etc. to another language or set them manually in the SP Page Builder countdown addon?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, this is possible through Joomla language overrides.

The Countdown Addon uses the following language constants:


COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_DAYS
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_HOURS
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_MINUTES
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_SECONDS

To create the overrides:

  1. Go to System → Manage → Language Overrides.
  2. Select the desired language and client (usually Site).
  3. Click New.
  4. Enter the language constant (for example, COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_DAYS) in the Language Constant field.
  5. Enter your preferred label in the Text field.
  6. Save the override.
  7. Repeat the process for the remaining constants.

Once the overrides are saved, the Countdown Addon will display your custom labels instead of the default ones.

Just one more question: is it possible to set the mobile device view so that the grid is 2x2? Right now, it’s 4x1 on desktop, 2x2 on tablet, and 1x4 on mobile.

Hi, yes, I know about that, but this is just for the countdown add-on.
By default, on large screens like laptops, it's ordered like in one line:

  • DAYS HOURS MINUTES SECONDS

On mobile, it's like one column:

  • DAYS
  • HOURS
  • MINUTES
  • SECONDS

And what I want to achieve is two columns and two rows:

  • DAYS HOURS
  • MINUTES SECONDS
