In addon "Modal popup" I can chose "Icon" which creates a link with an icon.
I can set the color, but not hover color. How to set hover color that affects both icon and text?
Note: setting text/hover under "Style" has no effect.

Probably by using Custom CSS only.
.sppb-modal-selector span > i:hover {color: red;}Use that in Page Settings > Page CSS > Custom CSS area

Strange that the hover option is not include here.
try to add !important just after "red" but before ";"
