The Icon Addon No Longer Accepts Links

I created a table and added an icon add-on to it that’s supposed to open a PDF when clicked. It’s always worked so far. Now I can select and add the file, but the link to the file remains empty. I’ve created a video to help explain:

If I enter the path manually, it works (that’s how it was with the mail icon in this table as well).
Why isn’t this working for me?

In general, icon addon link works. I have just tested. After checking your screenshot, I will further investigate the issue.
