hi!

This is the first time I have encountered this, help me figure it out.

I use a template NEWSBERG

We put the site on the Internet. I had to edit the sppagebuilder page. And nothing could be
edited. The site was hanging.

It turned out that in the file configuration.php it was written
public $live_site = 'https://www.ewm-russia.com/';

Fixed : public $live_site = 'https://ewm-russia.com/';
Editing and saving changes is possible. However, with this form of recording, the appearance of the site broke down.

If you return the previous record public $live_site = 'https://www.ewm-russia.com/';
then the site is displayed correctly

Совет, перенесите весь CSS из css поля шаблона в файл custom.css. Поле шаблона не используйте. Это добавляет код в head что плохо для скорости страницы. И не используйте комментарии на кириллице, сервер это видит длинными краказябрами, что тоже влияет на скорость. А лучше их вообще убрать, и как минимум удалить все пустые строки. А как максимум минирфицировать

  1. The hang occurs when working with sppagebuilder. No changes can be saved when the "Save" button is clicked.

the variable public $live_site =''"; is replaced by public $live_site = 'https://www.yourdomain.com';
public $force_ssl = '0'; is replaced by public $force_ssl = '2';

with such settings, the problem is not solved.

If specify a variable without WWW — public $live_site = 'https://yourdomain.com'; then the error "mixed content" occurs.

Maybe it is possible to specify the paths to resources in the template itself?

Удалите значение в live_site что бы было пусто, вот так public $live_site = ''; и сайт резолвился автоматически исходя из настроек сервера. Никогда не заполняйте это значение если точно не знаете, как настроен сервер. Эта переменная может конфликтовать с его настройками. Для указания основного зеркала сайта лучше использовать htaccess и robots.txt. Или средства панели управления. Например, это все настраивается в панели ISP manager (если у вас такая).
Уточните для какого домена получен сертификат. с www это считается другим доменом. Обычно сертификат получают для обоих, для с и без www. Это не проблема Билдера скрорее всего. А проблема того, что у вас не правильно настроен сайт и сертификат

The provider turned off the mod_security.

I edited configuration.php: public $live_site = 'https://ewm-russia.com';
Page changes are possible. But the site breaks down.

I thought, when the mode is disabled, did I need to change .htaccess and configuration.php? Remove
redirection to https?

Or do you want to see for yourself what happens when disabled mod_security? I was confused...
Should I ask the provider to disable the mod_security again?

Павел, спасибо Вам. Настройки сделаны по документации sweb https://help.sweb.ru/entry/198/, провайдер тоже не видит в них ошибок. Вариант public $live_site = ''; не сработал :((
