Logo on mobile too large after update to Helix Ultimate 2.0.5

Asked by Edze de Boer 4 years ago Last activity 4 years ago

Hi guys,

I see on several websites that the logo is too large (too high) on a mobile phone.
What should be the perfect dimensions for the mobile logo?
Kind regards,

Hi Mehtaz,

I give you three examples:

At the 1st and 2nd the logo seems too high on mobile.
At the 3rd the logo seems ok.

dok7woensel.nl
logo 90 px high
header 100 px high

restaurantolio.nl
logo 110 px high
header 110 px high

pizzeria-eindhoven.nl
logo 60 px high
header 70 px high

Here the dimensions of the logo are ok on mobile phone

Edze de Boer Asked this

Hi Mehtaz,

For the PC screen I choose a logo that is 90 px high, a Logo Height of 90 px and a Header Height of 100 px.
This looks fine on a PC screen:
www.dok7woensel.nl

For the Mobile screen I choose a logo that is 60 px high. On Mobile screen this logo grows to a height of 90 px.
It seems that the Logo Height is not only for the PC screen, but is also valid for the Mobile screen.

It looks like this effect is only visible since the update to version 2.0.x of the Helix Ultimate template.
Why oh why is the Header Height the same for PC screen and for Mobile screen?

Somewhere in the Developer Code screen I found this code:

.logo-image-phone {
height: 60px;
}

If I place this code in the Custom CSS field of the Template Options' Custom Code, it doesn't have any effect on the mobile screen.

Instead of shrinking the logo to 60 px high, I should be able to grow the height of the row that includes the mobile logo from 60 px to 90 px. In this case the problem could also be solved.

Please give me a solution, because I am out op options here...

Kind regards,

Hi,

When you used custom css you should give a !important after your css then it works. Try this and let me know
