any idea why one (and only one) item in the top menu has different color ? I have checked every possible setting and cannot find the culprit OR is it some bug ?

Hi Arthur,

Please use following tip to check from where "black" color is taken/used: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/which-line-of-css-i-have-to-edit-code-inspector-in-action

We also use this method.

Yes I see it in CSS. It comes from sp.preloader class from the template...

so what is wrong here that the template applies BLACK to this item while applying other colors to other items ?

All is clear now, thanks for the screenshot.

Your menu item doesn't have a link, so it's treated with color as normal text, body style.

Easy to fix by custom CSS:

li.sp-menu-item > span.sp-menu-heading {color: white;}

li.sp-menu-item > span.sp-menu-heading:hover {color: #FAF8C5;}

Thanks, but this is something that needs to be fixed because 50% users will have a menu entry which is just a header (no link). In such case all menu entries will look black, while they should inherit the colors from other menu items. Something is definitely messed up in CSS (template).

I am not going to apply this CSS every time I change template, add new menu entry or creating new menu etc...

I will test your fix, but keep in mind this is a temporary band-aid.
