We ran into another problem that seems to persist even after rolling back.

We are using Shaper_Helix3 - Default as our template. When we try to edit an article, the URL references Helix Ultimate. None of the buttons work for publishing options. We also can not click the gear on the article to open the editor. This started today after we updated. Even though we rolled back, we are still having this problem. We have cleared all cache as well.

Thanks for contacting us.

I have checked your screenshots. You have templates from both frameworks. As I can see the pitech template is made with Helix Ultimate framework and the finance template is made with Helix3.

Actually, Helix Ultimate and Helix3 are two different frameworks and they are different in so many areas. So it may cause conflict to have them together. On your screenshot you can see two 'Blog Options' tab, one from Helix3 and another from Helix Ultimate, they differs.

Please keep templates from one framework only and remove the rests. And kindly make sure you have System plugin of the relevant framework only after removing the other templates.

Hello,

Removing the unused template and framework did not resolve the problem. We are still unable to click anything on the article page and we are unable to click on the gear on the article page.

I have removed Helix Ultimate, as this is not used. A screenshot will not show the issue.

Clicking the gear on any article does nothing. It does not give us the "edit" dropdown Clicking on "publishing" or any of the tabls on any article on the front end does nothing.

This happened when I tried to update to the new version of Helix 3. I tried to roll back unsuccessfully, restored from a backup, and nothing has solved our problem.

I actually rolled back 3 days to a backup that cleared the issue. It started when we upgraded our website to the new version of Helix 3. The website uses the raw helix 3 template so I didn't think it would be an issue. The update prevented us from being able to click or do anything within the article settings. It also prevented us from being able to click the gear icon to edit an article.

I moved a backup copy to another account and switched the template to protostar for testing and all of the lost functionality came back. I tried double installing helix3 in case that cleared up any residual issues but the issue persisted.

Because it was drastically affecting site functionality, we just rolled back to a backup and it worked.
