PHP 8.0 Problem

CN

Chris Nichols

SP Page Builder 3 years ago

I recently changed my PHP version to 8.0 and I've run into an issue with Page Builder Pro's media manager.
When I upload a jpg, the progress bar goes to 100% and hangs, then I get an upload failed message. The uploaded file is there if I browse folders, but not if I go in via the Images shortcut. PDF uploads work as expected. I've also notice that there is no image thumbnail being created.

I rolled back to PHP 7.4 and the problem is resolved.

I'm using the latest version of SP Page Builder Pro.

Not sure if this is a bug, or whether I just need to enable something in PHP 8.0.

I see. Thanks for the feedback. I have taken it to the dev table. They will inspect and fix it in the next release.

Hello Chris Nichols

Thanks for notifying us. I have also found this issue. Video and Attachment upload is okay. Images can be uploaded to Joomla Media (Browse Folders). Only issue is that imges cannot be uploaded on SP Page Builder Images option. Please add if you have more observations. I am forwarding this to the dev team.

Best regards

They do upload via SP Page Bulider and the SPPB Media Manager, but you have to go to "Browse Folders" to find them. Images don't appear in the Images shortcut. The correct folder structure is being created, but the Thumnail folder is empty.
